Adriaan Hoek is a concert organist. He acquired his Master of Music degree summa cum laude at the Conservatory of Rotterdam as a student of Ben van Oosten, Bas de Vroome, Aart Bergwerff and Hayo Boerema. He studied also piano, theory of music, church music and improvisation. He is now studying for his diploma Konzertexam at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg by Pieter van Dijk and Wolfgang Zerer.

Adriaan was awarded several prizes at international organ competitions including four first prizes in 2015 in Korschenbroich, Alkmaar (Schnitger Organ Competition), Lübeck (Buxtehude) and Breda. In 2016 he received the title ‘’The young ECHO organist of the Year 2016’’. By this title he gives concerts in Germany, Italy, France, Austria and Schotland.

Adriaan is active as a soloist and as a continuo player but also as a teacher.
